Paulo Gorgulho was born on May 5, 1959 in São Lourenço, Minas Gerais, Brazil as Paulo César Gorgulho. He is an actor, known for Bicho do Mato (2006), Essas Mulheres (2005) and For All: O Trampolim da Vitória (1997). He has been married to Vânia Gnaspini since 1987. They have three children.

Paulo studied in São Paulo University. He has 13 siblings: Maria do Espírito Santo (b. 1942), José Gilberto (b. 1943), João Bosco (b. 1945), Maria Rita (b. 1946), Maria Celina (b. 1948), Elza Regina (b. 1950), Gabriel Filho (b. 1952), Rafael (b. 1953), Miguel (b. 1955), Antônio Carlos (b. 1957), Mônica (b. 1960), Luíz Eduardo (b. 1962) and Sílvia (b. 1963). He and Vânia, a stylist, are parents of a girl named Catarina (b.1990) and two boys named Guilherme (b. 1995) and Joaquim (b. May 2 2005). Son of Gabriel Arcanjo Gorgulho (1913-2003) and Anna dos Santos (1924-1983).
